How do you find the volume of a cylinder when you know the radius and height
lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This is one of those formulas of algebra and geometry that you need to learn.  If you know the radius and the height of a vertical cylinder, then its volume is equal to the (base area) times the (height), which, symbolically, are

V = (base area)(height)

Here,

V = πr²· h   where  πr² is the area of the base (which is a circle of radius r) and h is the height of the cylinder.

Since both the expressions in x are equal to y then they are equal to each other, so

-2x + 3 = 13x - 4

-15x + 3 = -4

-15x = -7

x = 7/15

and y = -2(7/15) + 3 =  31/15  = 2 1/15

State the open intervals over which the function is (a) increasing, (b) decreasing or (c) constant
ipn [44]

Answer:

a. [-3, 4]

b. (-inf, -3]

c. [4, inf)

Step-by-step explanation:

Our intervals will represent the x-values

We know that since there's an arrow pointing to the left of the line that it goes on infinitely

Same thing when the arrow is going to the right

Then we can just looking at the x-values on the graph for the intervals where it starts and stops

Hope this helps

Best of luck
