Density can be calculated using the following rule:
density = mass/volume
plug the given mass and volume into the equation to calculate thr density:
density=57/4.2 = 13.57 g/cm^3

Its Mass divided by Volume. 57/4.2= 13.5g/cm3
if you have to round it, .5 and under :Leave it   .6 and up: round it up 1.
so in this case, leave it at 13. Hope this helps

The USDA recommends that women consume about 2000 Calories per day and men consume about 2500 Calories per day. How much average
professor190 [17]

Answer:

   1500 W to 2200 W

Explanation:

Every person does work in his daily day to day life. A person needs energy in order to perform work. And the energy consumed by an individual while performing a daily work is directly responsible to the mount of oxygen consumed by the person.

The USDA is the federal agency which looks after the food and agriculture matters of the US government. It deals with and formulates different policies and laws for the country and it s people. It recommends about 2000 calories per day for women and for men it recommends about 2500 calorie per days of food intake.

Accordingly, the average power required by a human body for doing regular work is in the range of 1500 W to 2200 W.

A 5-turn square loop (10 cm along aside, resistance = 4.0 ) is placed in a magnetic field that makes an angle of30o with the pla
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

Area A of the coil = .1 x .1 = .01 m²

no of turns n = 5

magnetic field B = .5 t²

Flux  Φ perpendicular to plane passing through it.= nBA sin30

rate of change of flux

dΦ/dt = nAdBsin30 / dt

= nA d/dt (.5t²x .5 )

= nA x 2 x .25 x t

At t = 4s

dΦ/dt = nA x 2

= 5x .01 x 2

= .1

current = induced emf / resistance

= .1 / 4

= .025 A

= 25 mA.

A small candle is 38 cm from a concave mirror having a radius of curvature of 24 cm. (a) what is the focal length of the mirror?
Finger [1]
For a concave mirror, the radius of curvature is twice the focal length of the mirror:
r=2f
where f, for a concave mirror, is taken to be positive.

Re-arranging the formula we get:
f= \frac{r}{2}
and since the radius of curvature of the mirror in the problem is 24 cm, the focal length is
f= \frac{24 cm}{2} = 12 cm

A wave travelling 140 m/sec with a wavelength of 4.0 m has what frequency? _______________Meters / Hz / seconds
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

The frequency of a wave is 35 Hz.

Explanation:

Speed of a wave is 140 m/s

Wavelength of a wave is 4 m

It is required to find the frequency. The relation between frequency, speed and the wavelength of a wave is given by :

v=f\lambda

f is frequency

f=\dfrac{v}{\lambda}\\\\f=\dfrac{140\ m/s}{4\ m}\\\\f=35\ Hz

So, the frequency of a wave is 35 Hz.
