Density can be calculated using the following rule:
density = mass/volume
plug the given mass and volume into the equation to calculate thr density:
density=57/4.2 = 13.57 g/cm^3

Its Mass divided by Volume. 57/4.2= 13.5g/cm3
if you have to round it, .5 and under :Leave it   .6 and up: round it up 1.
so in this case, leave it at 13. Hope this helps

100 g lead target. Lead has a very high density which means even a very small volume and weight quite a lot. So because the lead target weighs only 100 g it's going to be small in size compared to other targets which are all made of lesser dense materials than lead.

Lerok [7]

Answer:

Option A

Explanation:

The Equation represents the displacement of the object which is represented by x

x=t-t^2

so, x_0  means when time is zero so we replace t with zero in the equation,

x_0=(0)-(0)^2\\x_0=0

now for v which is velocity we need to differentiate the function as the formula for velocity is rate of change of displacement over time so we derivate the equation once and get,

v=1-2t\\

now for  v_0  we insert t = 0 and get

v_0=1-2(0)\\v_0=1

now for a which is acceleration the formula of acceleration is rate of change of velocity over time, so we differentiate the the equation of v(velocity) once or the equation of x(displacement) twice so now we get,

a=-2

so Option A is your answer.

Remember derivative of a constant is always zero because a constant value has no rate of change has its a constant hence the derivative is 0

A 1.0-kg block moving to the right at speed 3.0 m/s collides with an identical block also moving to the right at a speed 1.0 m/s
____ [38]

Answer:

Speed of both blocks after collision is 2 m/s

Explanation:

It is given that,

Mass of both blocks, m₁ = m₂ = 1 kg

Velocity of first block, u₁ = 3 m/s

Velocity of other block, u₂ = 1 m/s

Since, both blocks stick after collision. So, it is a case of inelastic collision. The momentum remains conserved while the kinetic energy energy gets reduced after the collision. Let v is the common velocity of both blocks. Using the conservation of momentum as :

m_1u_1+m_2u_2=(m_1+m_2)v

v=\dfrac{m_1u_1+m_2u_2}{(m_1+m_2)}

v=\dfrac{1\ kg\times 3\ m/s+1\ kg\times 1\ m/s}{2\ kg}

v = 2 m/s

Hence, their speed after collision is 2 m/s.
