The frequency of the waves decrease

Answer:

The frequency of the waves must decrease when the musician increases the wavelength without changing their speed.

Explanation:

Wavelength (λ) is the distance over which the wave's shape repeats, as can be seen in the attached figure:

The speed (v), refers to the rate at which the wave propagates in space.

The frequency (f) is the number of waves that pass a given point in an amount of time. It could be defined mathematically as follows:

f=\frac{speed}{wavelength}=\frac{v}{λ}

As we can see in the previews equation, the frequency is inversely proportional to the wavelength, thus if we increase the wavelength with a constant speed, we obtain a reduction in the frequency

The darkening of the atmosphere caused by meteorites would have reduced the sizes of some ecosystems due to less solar energy being available to plants.

What is Solar energy?

This is the form of energy which is derived from the sun and is usually trapped by plants during photosynthesis.

Plants being primary producers will have less photosynthetic activity thereby leading to less food production and oxygen availability.

Pb(NO3)2
how do i solve this
Sindrei [870]

You can see the periodic table one by one.

Pb(NO3)2 = PbN2O6

So there are

1Pb

2N

6O

and so you find the molecular mass from the periodic table and add all the numbers

Molacular mass of

Pb = 207

N = 14

O = 16

multiply it with the number of atoms

1Pb = 207 × 1 = 207

2N = 14 × 2 = 28

6O = 16 × 6 = 96

Molecular mass total = 207 + 28 + 96 = 331

So the molecular mass is 331.

Andrej [43]

Circumpolar stars

Explanation:

Stars which appears to revolve around the Polaris and do not set or go below the horizon are called circumpolar stars.

In short, this stars circles the pole.

 • Circumpolar stars are not found at the equator.
 • These stars do not set and they are visible at the north poles.
 • The simply stay as the earth spins on its axis.

Compare and contrast a Covalent and an ionic bond

Ira Lisetskai [31]
Ionic compounds are formed from strong electrostatic interactions between ions, which result in higher melting points and electrical conductivity compared to covalent compounds. Covalent compounds have bonds where electrons are shared between atoms.

10. If 200. L of ammonia (NH3) are produced in the reaction between nitrogen and hydrogen at STP, how many
erma4kov [3.2K]

Answer:

100L of N2

Explanation:

First let us obtain the number of mole of NH3 that occupied 200L at stp. This can be achieved by doing the following:

1mole of NH3 occupied 22.4L at stp.

Therefore, Xmol mole of NH3 will occupy 200L i.e

Xmol of NH3 = 200/22.4 = 8.93moles.

Now let us generate a balanced equation for the reaction.

N2 + 3H2 —> 2NH3

From the equation above,

1mole of N2 produced 2moles of NH3.

Therefore, Xmol of N2 will produce 8.93moles of NH3 i.e

Xmol of N2 = 8.93/2 = 4.47moles

Now let us convert 4.47moles to N2 to Litres. This is illustrated below:

1mole of N2 occupied 22.4L at stp

Therefore, 4.47moles of N2 will occupy = 4.47 x 22.4 = 100L

Therefore, 100L of N2 is used in the reaction
