The cloth acts as insulation it doesn't matter the colour . And as to Black cloth attracting Heat this is only partially true if you put a black cloth in the room with no windows and the temperature of the room was 70° the cloth will not get any hotter black cloth absorbs infrared energy this makes it feel warmer

Find the measure of angle TUV
denpristay [2]

Answer:

∠TUV = 120°

Step-by-step explanation:

Since this figure is a kite, we know that; ∠TUV ≈ ∠TWV, so first we solve for x:

9x - 6 = 7x + 22

2x - 6 = 22

2x = 28

x = 14

Now, substitute 14 in for x, in the equation for ∠TUV:

∠TUV = 9x - 6

∠TUV = 9(14) - 6

∠TUV = 126 - 6

∠TUV = 120°

Hope this helps!

Help please!!! I will give a gold medal.
morpeh [17]
Well assuming that this would be a typical triangle, and not a right angle one, knowing that the sum of all sides adds up to 180 degrees, simply add all of the expressions and one value and make it equal to 180, and then solve for x.

(6x-1) + (X+14) + 20 = 180
6x - 1 + X + 14 = 160
7x - 1 + 14 = 160
7x + 13 = 160
7x = 147
X = 21.

Now solve for the angles by plugging in X.

A = 6x - 1 = 6(21) - 1 = 125 degrees
C = X + 14 = (21) + 14 = 35 degrees.

I believe these are the solutions.

FCD=x+41, BCF=x+78, BCD=95. Find x
Lorico [155]
You'll set the two expressions equal to 95.
So 2x+119=95
Then 2x=-24
Finally x=-12

Can someone solve these please using the formula AB | a - b |

And can you show work
Lana71 [14]

Answer: 1) AC = 13

The formua does not actually apply to all of the problems.

Step-by-step explanation:

1) The absolute value of -8 is added to the absolute value of 5. 8+5=13

2) Subtract the length of the EF from EG to get the length of FG 21 -6 = 15

3) Take what's given and create an equation to solve. 4x + 15 +39 =110. 4x = 110 - (15+39).

4x =110-54. 4x =56. x=56/4. x=14

4) Create another equation. You have two segments that add up to the length of EG, given =23

EF+FG=EG

(2x-12)+(3x-15)=23

5x - 27 = 23

5x= 23+27 5x =50. x = 10

Substitute 10 for x

EF=2(10) -12 EF=8

FG=3(10)-15. FG=15

EF+FG =EG.

8 + 15 = 23

5) 2/5 of 25 is 10 So EF is 10. Subtract from 25 to get FG

FG = 15

I hope this helps you.
