Answer:

A) moles of aluminum=\frac{x L* 0.2moles}{1L}

B) moles of bromine=\frac{x L* 0.6moles}{1L}

C)x L - 10*x L

Explanation:

A) and B)

Firs, you need to determine the amount moles of aluminum and bromine in one mole of AlBr3. For that you must look at the subindices that appear after each element in the compound. So, you have 1 mol of aluminum and 3 mol of bromine in one mol of AlBr3.

Now, you have 0.2 M of AlBr3, this means that in 1 L of solution you have 0.2 moles of AlBr3.   And to calculate the amount of moles of aluminum and bromine in 0.2 moles you multiply this coefficient by the amounts previously calculated, these are 1 mol of aluminum and 3 mol of bromine. So you have 0.2 moles of aluminum and 0.6 moles of bromine in 0.2 moles of AlBr3.

So, now you know that in 1 L of solution you have 0.2 moles of AlBr3, in consecuense <em>in 1 L of solution you have 0.2 moles of aluminum and 0.6 moles of bromine</em>.

Now you can apply a rule of three: If in a liter of solution you have 0.2 moles of aluminum, how many moles of aluminum are in x liters of solution?

<em>moles of aluminum=\frac{x L* 0.2moles}{1L}</em>

If in a liter of solution you have 0.6 moles of bromine, how many moles of bromine are in x liters of solution?

<em>moles of bromine=\frac{x L* 0.6moles}{1L}</em>

C)

First you must determine the amount of moles of AlBr3 in x liters of solution. For that you can apply a rule of three: If in a liter of solution you have 0.2 moles of AlBr3, how many moles of AlBr3 are in x liters of solution?

<em>xmoles of AlBr3=\frac{x L* 0.2 moles}{1L}</em>

When you add a solvent like water, the moles of AlBr3 you have before and after adding it are the same. So, knowing that the new concentration is 0.02 M (in 1 L of solution are 0.02 moles of AlBr3) and applying the following rule of three you can determinate the final volume of the solution:

If in a liter of solution you have 0.02 moles of AlBr3, how many liters of solution contain xmoles of AlBr3?

<em>xlitersofsolution=\frac{xmoles of AlBr3*1L}{0.02moles} =\frac{\frac{x L*0.2moles}{1L} }{0.02moles} =10*x L</em>

<em>Your initial solution had a volume of x L, so the difference between x L and the previous expression will be the volume of water you added to get the diluted solution: x L - 10*x L</em>

Copper was the first metal to be produced from its ore because it is the easiest to smelt, that is, to refine by heating in the
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

57.48%

Explanation:

Calculate the mass of 1 mole of malachite:

MM Cu = 63.55

MM O = 16.00

MM H = 1.01

MM C = 12.01

(Cu_{2}(OH)_{2}CO_{3})

A mole of malachite has:

2 moles of Cu

5 moles of O

2 moles of H

1 mole of C

MW Malachite = 2*MM(CU) + 5*MM(O) + 2*MM(H) + 1 *MM(C)

MW Malachite = 2*63.55 + 5*16.00 + 2*1.01 + 1*12.01

MW Malachite = 221.13

Mass of Cu in a mole of Malachite = 2*MM(CU) = 127.1

Now divide the mass of Cu by the mass of Malachite

%Cu = \frac{127.1}{221.13} =0.5748=57.48%

Western regions Facts
babunello [35]
This region has both the state with the smallest population (Wyoming) and the largest population (California).
Alaska's land area is much bigger than any other state, but it has one of the lowest populations.
The western US takes up about half of the land of the United States.

The western United States is the region comprising the westernmost states of the United States. As American settlement in the U.S. expanded westward, the meaning of the term the West changed. Before about 1800, the crest of the Appalachian Mountains was seen as the western frontier.

Hope this helps :)

What dissolved species are present in a solution of NaClO4?
Nadusha1986 [10]

Assuming that the solution is simply an aqueous solution so that it is purely made of NaClO4 (the solute) and water (the solvent), then I believe the dissolved species would only be the ions of NaClO4, these are:

Na+

ClO4 -
