Answer: The dimension are 70  by 29

Step-by-step explanation:

\\The are of a rectangle is given as L X B , that means from the first statement , L X B = 2030

\\Also, the Perimeter of a rectangle is given by 2 ( L + B ), that means from the second statement 2 ( L + B ) = 198 , dividing this through by 2 , we have

\\L + B = 99

\\Combing the two equations, we have

\\LB = 2030 ........... 1

\\L + B = 99 ............ 2

\\Solving the resulting simultaneous equation

\\from equation 1 make L the subject , we have

\\L = 2030/B

\\Also, from equation 2 , make L the subject of the formula , we have

\\= 99 - B ............ **

\\Equate the two values of L , we have

\\2030 / B= 99 - B , by cross multiplying , we have

\\2030 = 99B - B^{2}

\\This is the same as B^{2}   - 99B + 2030 = 0

\\This is a quadratic equation, solving by quadratic formula

\\ L = 70 or 29

\\substituting this value into **

\\B = 29 or 70

\\Therefore the dimensions are 70 X29

What is the x intercept of the line 3x+2y-10=0
Vesna [10]
To find the x int, sub in 0 for y and solve for x
3x + 2y - 10 = 0
3x + 2(0) - 10 = 0
3x - 10 = 0
3x = 10
x = 10/3.....so ur y int is 10/3 or (10/3,0)

Y - Circle
Kaylis [27]

Answer:

9cm

Step-by-step explanation:

making perpendicular "A" from center "O"

we get,OA=4cm(half of 8cm)

Now,

In triangle POA,

h^2=p^2+b^2

5^2=4^2+b^2

25=16+b^2

9=b^2

b=3cm

PA=3cm

hence,length of chords=3+3=9cm

Heng tried to define a reflection across line r.
Maurinko [17]

Answer:

Any point N on line r maps to itself.

Step-by-step explanation:

Reflection is one of the examples of solid transformation in which a given point, segment, or figure is flipped over a reference point or line to produce its image. The distance of the object to the reference point or line is the same as the distance of its image to the point or line. And both have the same size, but different orientation.

The option that does not fully define a reflection is; any point N on line r maps to itself, because no image of point N is produced after the operation.
