6. A silver ring has a mass of 5.25 grams also. Calculate the number of silver atoms present in the ring?
valentinak56 [21]
6. You must divide the mass by it’s molar mass to give you the total amount of moles within that piece. This will give you approx 0.05mol. You can now multiply this value by Avagadros constant which gives you 2.93 x 10^22 atoms. I would expect gold to have less atoms as it’s molar mass is higher than that of silvers, meaning that less atoms would be required to equal the same mass

An interaction of systems allows for the body to warm itself when it is cold. Which processes help the body warm up when it is c
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

Answer:

shivering

hair on the body standing up

goosebump forming

Explanation:

The processes that help the body warm-up from the available options include the shivering of the body, formation of goosebumps on the skin, and the standing up of hairs on the body.

When the temperature of the body falls below the setpoint or the environment is cold, a homeostatic response is triggered and a signal is sent from the control center to the muscles of the body. The muscles start shaking in order to generate heat to raise the temperature of the body. At the same time, the tiny muscles at the base of the hairs on the skin contract and pull the hairs erect, causing goosebumps in the process.

What are the hypotheses on which Dalton's atomic theory is based?
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

Dalton's theory are based on the two laws that are: Law of conservation of mass and law of constant composition. This theory basically described their properties of atoms.

This theory state that all the atoms are made up of matter which are invisible and in the elements all the atoms are identical in mass and properties.

What is mass write a five sentence paragraph
zepelin [54]
Mass is a coherent, typical large body of matter with no definite shape. Another way to describe matter is a very heavy or large object.Matter can also be described with length. This is how i know matter is a very large length or weight. (Hope this helped) :)
