Mathematics

Distribute the 3 to the parentheses.  Q=3r+3/r

Next multiply both sides by r to get rid of the division sign.

Qr=3r+3

Subtract 3r on both sides and you get Qr-3r=3

Since both numbers have an r in it, we can factor out the r

r(Q-3)=3

Then we divide Q-3 on both sides

r=3 / (Q-3)

Hi there!

Using the formula - n-2*180 -, we know that the interior angles of a pentagon add up to 540. We can use the values we're given and add them together and set them all equal to 540, then solve.

WORK:
540 = 204 + 12x
336 = 12x
x = 28

Hope this helps!! :)

ehidna [41]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf 320\ servings = 4\ gallons}

Step-by-step explanation:

1 gallon = 16 cups (STANDARD)

For 10 servings:

10 servings = 2 cups of water

10 servings = 2 / 16 gallons

10 servings = 0.125 gallons

<u>For 320 servings:</u>

10 servings = 0.125 gallons

Multiply both sides by 32

10 * 32 servings = 0.125 * 32 gallons

320 servings = 4 gallons

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!
