Don't be blinded by all the super-technical stuff about satellites and orbits here.

All it's asking you is:

  --  here's the radius of a circle
  --  here's how long it takes to go around the circle
  --  how fast are you traveling around the circle ?

I hope that's less scary.
_____________________________

Circumference of a circle =

                           (pi) x (diameter)

                        = (pi) x (2 x radius)

                        =  (5 pi) x 10¹² meters .

Time to go around the circle =  2 x 10⁶ seconds

Speed = (distance) / (time)

           = (5 pi x 10¹² m) / (2 x 10⁶ sec)

           =  2.5 pi x 10⁶  m/s

           =       7.85 x 10⁶  m/s

Answer:

Avoid downed power lines and stay away from buildings and bridges from which heavy objects might fall during an aftershock. Stay away until local officials tell you it is safe. A tsunami is a series of waves that may continue for hours. Do not assume that after one wave the danger is over.

What is the average acceleration of the particle between 0 seconds and 4 seconds? A. 0 meters/second2 B. 0.04 meters/second2 C.
lisov135 [29]

Answer

D. 0.25 meters/second2

Explanation

The average acceleration is the ratio of change in velocity to the change in time of travel.Taking in this case that the change of velocity is a unit, then Average acceleration is given by;

Aacc=Vf-Vi/Tf-Ti

where Vf=final velocity,Vi=initial velocity' Tf=final time, Ti=initial time

Vf-Vi=1m/s

Tf-Ti=4-0=4seconds

Avacc=1/4=0.25m/s2

We know for newton's 2nd law of motion that the force on an object is equal to the mass of the object times the acceleration of
Dmitrij [34]

         Force = (mass) x (acceleration)

           5 N  =  (9 kg) x (acceleration)

Divide each side
by  9 kg :              5 N / 9 kg  =  acceleration

                           Acceleration = (5/9)  kg-meter/sec²-kg

                                             =  0.555...  m/s²   .

Three people pull simultaneously on a stubborn donkey. Jack pulls directly ahead of the donkey with a force of 77.3 N, Jill pull
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

F_{net} = 232.8 N

towards right so it is -15 degree

Explanation:

Net force in forward direction due to all three is given as

F_x = F_1 + F_2cos45 + F_3cos45

here we know that

F_1 = 77.3 N

F_2 = 61.7 N

F_3 = 147 N

F_x = 77.3 + 61.7 cos45 + 147 cos45

F_x = 224.9 N

Similarly in Y direction we will have

F_y = F_3 sin45 - F_2 sin45

F_y = (147 - 61.7)sin45

F_y = 60.3 N

Now the net force on the donkey is given as

F_{net} = \sqrt{F_x^2 + F_y^2}

F_{net} = \sqrt{224.9^2 + 60.3^2}

F_{net} = 232.8 N

Now direction of force is given as

tan\theta = \frac{F_y}{F_x}

tan\theta = \frac{60.3}{224.9}

\theta = 15^o towards right so it is -15 degree
