The answer is equal, or the same, because if two lines have the same slope then they will never touch, which is what parallel lines are. I hope this helps!

Please help on this...<br> Fine the perimeter and the area of this.
leva [86]

Answer:

p = 18 in

a = 25 in²

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter = sum  of the sides

p = 4 1/3 + 5 1/3 + 8 1/3

p = 18 in

Area = 1/2 * base * height

a = 1/2 * 8 1/3 * 6

a = 1/2 * 50

a = 25 in²

I need help on finding the LCD
Kipish [7]
The LCD of the denominator is 12. For this one it is possible to just 'see' that 6 is a divisor of 12. When in doubt, you can always get an answer by just multiplying the denominators. (ie., you can turn 11/12 into 66/72 and 1/6 into 12/72).

In this case, the easiest is to convert 1/6 into 2/12. (multiply both numbers by 2).

Then it becomes:

9\frac{11}{12} - 9 \frac 2{12} = 9 \frac{11-2}{12} - 9 = \frac9{12} = \frac34
