Answer:

x = 34*10^{-2} m

Explanation:

Given that

the ball travelled in positive direction x1 = 20 cm

the ball comes to stop at a distance = x2 = 6 cm

the distance travelled in -ve direction

x3 = x1 - x2 = 20- 6 = 14 cm

total distance co=vered by the given ball

x = x1 +x3 = 20+14 = 34 cm

x = 34 cm

x = 34*10^{-2} m

Raising the temperature of a gas will increase its pressure if which of the following happens?
telo118 [61]

Answer

d. both the volume and the number of particles are constant.

Explanation

Temperature increases the kinetic energy of the molecules. This increases the velocity of the molecules hence increasing the number of collisions with the walls of the container. This causes the pressure in the container to increase.

This will only happen if other factors are held constant. These factors are volume of the container and the number of particles/molecules.

A hoop and a disk with uniform mass distribution have the same radius but the total masses are not known. Can they both roll dow
ser-zykov [4K]

Answer:

Explanation:

radius of hoop and the radius of disk is same = R

Let the mass of hoop is M and the mass of disk is M'.

As they reach the bottom of teh surface in same time so they travel equal distance thus, they have same acceleration.

The acceleration is given by

a=\frac{gSin\theta }{1+\frac{I}{MR^{2}}}

As the acceleration is same so that the moment of inertia is also same.

Moment of inertia of disk = moment of inertia of hoop

1/2 x mass of disk x R² = mass of hoop x R²

So, mass of disk = 2 x mass of hoop

Option (c) is correct.

If you are going 60 mph what is your speed in m per second
LenKa [72]

Answer:

1/60 mps

Explanation:

We would first have to divide 60 by 60 because there is 60mins per hour to get 1mpm. After that we would have to divide 1 by 60 because there are 60 secs in a min. So our final answer after doing 1/60 would be a fraction.
