Answer: element symbol : Cu.

Number of protons= 29

Number of electrons = 29

Explanation:

Mass number is defined as the sum of number of protons and neutrons that are present in an atom.

Mass number = Number of protons + Number of neutrons (i)

Atomic number is defined as the number of protons or number of electrons that are present in an atom in a neutral element.

Atomic number = Number of electrons = Number of protons (ii)

Given mass number = 65

Number of neutrons = 36

using (i) , Mass number = Number of protons + Number of neutrons

65= Number of protons + 36

Number of protons = 29

Using (ii) , Atomic number = Number of protons = Number of electrons = 29

Thus the element is copper with atomic number of 29 and element symbol is Cu.

Answer:

Is an isotope of Cu (Copper)

Explanation:

Remember that the mass number will tell you the number of protons and neutrons. If you have the mass number(65) and the number of neutrons (36), you just need to subtract: 65 - 36 = 29 the number or protons.

As this is a neutral isotope, that means that is going to have the same number of protons and electrons, that is 29.

Explain how creativity can play a role in the construction of scientific questions and hypotheses.
sweet-ann [11.9K]
Scientific questions and hypotheses come up frequently while one is engaged in investigating a scientific phenomenon such as natural geological phenomena as may occur in geological mapping in the field. For example, there may be a question does this canyon or deeply incised valley which is quite straight follow a weakness in the earth's crust like a major fault or the direction of bedding in well bedded sedimentary rocks. In a particular topographic area, some hypotheses which may be developed is that valleys follow geological structure whereas ridges follow resistant rocks like quartzites or quartz sandstones or in the ocean, points or capes may represent resistant quartz sandstones and bays may represent weak soft shales recessively weathering

The first method to determine the chemical composition of a substance in space was using light. By determining red shift in the observed spectrum of light they could determine the elements they were observing. Different elements change the way light behaves and from this scientists can determine the makeup of things such as stars and nebulas.
