The temperature of the resistor varies based on the variation in the temperature. The equation that describes the relation between the two of them is:
R = R0[1+ alpha(T-T0)] where:
R is the new resistance we are looking for
alpha is the temperature coefficient of resistance. For nichrome, alpha = 4x10^-4/C
T0 is the standard temperature =11.5
R0 is the resistance at T0 = 200 ohms
T is the temperature at which we want to get R = 0

Substitute in the equation to get R as follows:
R = 200 [1+4*10^-4 (0-11.5)] = 199.08 ohm

lawyer [7]

Explanation:

When the wire is connected to a battery, the compass needle moves and changes its position. This happens because the needle magnetizes the copper wire, thus, creating a force.

While the current in the wire produces a magnetic field and exerts a force on the needle. The insulation on the wire becomes energized and exerts a force on the needle. Hence, the compass needle moves and changes its position.

An electromagnetic wave has a frequency of 4.0 x 1018 Hz. What is the
trapecia [35]

Answer: D

Wavelength λ = 7.5 × 10^-11 m

Explanation:

You are given the frequency of an electromagnetic wave to be:

F = 4.0 x 1018 Hz. And the speed of light C to be

C = 3 × 10^8 m/s

From wave speed formula:

Wave speed is the product of waves frequency and wavelength. That is,

V = fλ

Where

f = frequency

λ = wavelength

V = C = speed of light

Substitute the values of the parameters into the formula

C = fλ

3 × 10^8 = 4 × 10^18 × λ

Make λ the subject of formula

λ = (3×10^8)/(4×10^18)

λ = 7.5 × 10^-11 m

Therefore, the wavelength of the wave is 7.5 × 10^-11 m
