Use the zeroes to determine the roots.

Write the polynomial as a product of the leading coefficient, a, and the factors, where each factor is x minus a root.

Use the y-intercept (0, –5) to solve for the leading coefficient.

Substitute the leading coefficient into the polynomial function for a and simplify.

1. "the graph has the same zeros" : so let a be the "triple" root of the cubic polynomial function.

2. So f(x)=(x-a)^{3}

3. Don't forget that the expression might have a coefficient b as well, and still maintain the conditions:

f(x)=b(x-a)^{3}

4. Now, f(0)=-5 so  -5=f(0)=b(0-a)^{3}=b(-a) ^{3}=-ba ^{3}

-5=-ba ^{3}

5=ba ^{3}

b= \frac{5}{ a^{3} }

5. the function is f(x)=\frac{5}{ a^{3} }(x-a)^{3} where a can be any real number except 0

Help pleaseee and explain how , I’m confused thanks

Answer:

The rope is worth 13.

The shoe is worth 5.

The clock is worth 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the weights are 8 so we will use 8 for the weights.

Let s = show

Let r = rope

Let c = clock

We have three unknowns so we need three equations.

8 + s = r                      c + s = 8                                 s= c +2

There are a number of ways that we can approach this.  Let's substitute

c + 2 for s in the first 2 equations.

8 + s = r

8 + c + 2 = r

10 + c = r

c + s = 8

c + c + 2 = 8

2c + 2 = 8

2c = 6

c = 3  we found the value of the clock.

Now, let's substitute 3 in for 3 in the bold equation above.

10 + c = r

10 + 3 = r

13 = r we found the value of the rope.

We can use any of the equations to find the shoe.

s= c + 2

s = 3 + 2

s = 5

This is tricky.  It takes a lot of practice.  Don't give up!

C(3) = 4/3x + -4<br><br> solve plsss, i appreciate it
pogonyaev

The equation given is:

c(x) = 4/3x + (-4)

Plug in 3 and solve:

c(3) = 4/3(3) + (-4)

c(3) = 12/3 + (-4)

c(3) = 4 + (-4)

Answer: c(3) = 0

Hope I helped!

Find the angle with a tangent ratio of 0.4877
andrew-mc [135]

i know there's a way to calculate that with just a pencil ,
but nobody ever uses it.

This is one of the few situations where I gladly refer you
to a calculator.  There, you'll find that the angle is

        (<em>26 degrees</em>) plus or minus any multiple of 180 degrees.
