Answer: The statement is false , if Jupiter and Venus somehow became the same size, Jupiter would still have more mass due to its density and composition and rocks, minerals, and etc.

No.  The statement is not correct.  It is incorrect, false, inaccurate, ludicrous, illogical, and absurd.

A balloon that is 80-ft long, 40-ft wide, and 30-ft high when inflated has much less mass than my house has.

Moreover, a small flat rock that is 1 meter long has substantially more mass than the pillow on my bed has.

The length of a displaced pendulum body which passes its lowest point twice every second
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

0.248 m

Explanation:

The period of a simple pendulum is given by

T=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{L}{g}}

where

L is the length of the pendulum

g is the acceleration of gravity

The pendulum in the problem passes its lowest point twice every second: this means: this means that it makes one complete oscillation in one second, so its period is 1 second:

T = 1 s

And using

g=9.8 m/s^2

We can rearrange the equation above to find L, the length of the pendulum:

L=\frac{T^2 g}{4\pi^2}=\frac{1^2(9.8)}{4\pi^2}=0.248 m

Which pairs of angles in the figure below are verticals angles ? check all that apply.
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

mark two options:

B. TSN and ISW

D. ISN and TSW

Explanation:

Recall the definition of vertical angles as: <em>those angles opposed by the vertex, and which are the result of two lines that intersect</em>.

In the figure given there are two pairs such angles, one pair I depicted in red, and the other one in blue, while the intersecting lines are shown in green. Notice that when two lines intersect, there are always two pairs of vertical angles being generated.

Therefore, according to the notation given, two boxes need to be checked in the set of options:

1) the one corresponding to : TSN and ISW (blue ones in the attached image)

and

2) the one corresponding to ISN and TSW (red ones in the attached image)
