Area of a trapezoid = ((a+b)/2) * h
a = x + x
b = z + z
h = y

A = ((4 + 12)/2) * 6
A = ((16)/2) *6
A = 8 * 6
A = 48

answer is B

Carla rode her bike to the park she travels at 5 miles per hour for 15 minutes how far did Carla ride her bike
Margaret [11]
In this question there is a simple trick that needs to be handled first. Baring that simple trick the problem is very easy. The first thing that needs to be done after noting down all the details from the given question is to covert 1 hour to 60 minutes.
Time taken by Carla to travel 5 miles = 1 hour
                                                           = ( 1 * 60 ) minutes
                                                           = 60 minutes
Then
In 60 minutes the distance covered by Carla = 5 miles.
NOw
In 15 minutes the distance traveled by Carla = (5/60) * 15 miles
                                                                       = 5/4 miles
                                                                       = 1.25 miles
So Carla will travel a distance of 1.25 miles in 15 minutes.

Company A charges $107 and allows unlimited mileage.
skad [1K]

Answer:

At mile 3 company A will start charging less.

Step-by-step explanation:

I came to this conclusion by realizing that no matter what company A will always charge $107 so, in theory all we needed to do was get company eight to $108. So having this mind set I created the equation, 65 + .70x  . I continuously kept on changing what was in x until the price was just above Company A's. And the number that got me there was 3.

Can you conclude the triangles ate congruent? justify
allochka39001 [22]
Yes because two angles are given equal, there’s a 90° formed in them making the last unknown angle equal as well. the hash marks justifies that two of the lines are equal, they share a line making that equal, which means the last unknown measurement is equal.

For y=4×+2x^2-x^3, show how to find the value of y when x=2
Talja [164]
Just put two instead of x like y = 4.2+2.4(2 squared)-8(cubic 2) that gives y= 8+8-8= 8 then y equals 8
