Freezing of water is a physical change because all you are doing is changing the physical state of the water from a liquid to a solid. when freezing occurs you have not altered the water chemically. you still have water except its in the solid form.

What is the purpose of the scientific method? ON APEX LEARNING
Arturiano [62]

The purpose of the scientific method "to use an experiment to test a scientific theory".

Answer: Option C

Explanation:

Researchers use the scientific method when conducting experiments to collect observable, empirical data in a hypothesis-related experiment , the findings that tend to justify or oppose a theory. It's also very important that other researchers can repeat and independently verify the conclusions, logic, and experiments.

Scientific method retains inductive reasoning its position. Scientists use this to formulate theories and hypotheses. In order to adapt the ideas to particular situations, deductive reasoning allows them to do so. Overall scientific methods have become path of analyzing different processes, going in our environment.

Which statement best describes why a machine is useful? A machine does a greater amount of work than the amount of work that is
malfutka [58]

"A machine can decrease either the input force or the input distance needed to do a given amount of work" is the best statement that describes why a machine is useful.

Answer: Option D

Explanation :

A machine is simply defined as a device that helps humans, helping them to transfer the required amount of force to compete any task, changing the direction of motion, increasing the magnitude of force to complete any task, reduce the time or distance needed to cover while performing any task.

Machines can be simple mechanical device or a combination of multiple mechanical or technical devices to reduce the amount of input force or increase the output.

To investigate the relationship between enzyme activity and substrate concentration, a student is supposed to prepare a reaction
nikdorinn [45]
As i know for finding the speed of an enzyme to do it's work this formula is used
v=v max *[s]/k m +[s]
km shows the amount of substrate we need to make the enzyme work with half of it's max speed and [s] shows the substrate.
we can say that 0.025/0.25=0.1 so the speed is about 0.1 of we wanted to
investigate at the beginning (we don't consider [s] in the Denominator to solve it easier)
