12.56 is less than 125.6 which could also be written as 12.56<125.6. 12.56 comes farther left on the number line and is of lesser value when compared to the number 125.6.

If you were to use the substitution method to solve the following system, choose the new
mestny [16]

Answer:

23x = -115

Step-by-step explanation:

In the substitution method, you must solve for 1 variable in 1 equation to replace it in the other equation. For the system:

2x - 7y = 4

3x + y = -17

Solving for y in the second equation:

y = -17 - 3x

Replacing y in the first equation:

2x - 7(-17 - 3x) = 4

2x + 119 + 21x = 4

23x = -115

This is the new equation after use the substitution method.

aleksklad [387]

Answer:

2x-5= -20

move -5 to the other side

sign changes from -5 to 5

2x-5+5= -20+5

2x= -15

divide by 2 for both sides

2x/2= -15/2

cross out 2 and 2, divide by 2 and 2 and then becomes x

x= -15/2

NEED HELP ON ALL OF THESE PLEASE
tangare [24]

Answer:

1) 2670m^2

2) 4718 in^2

3) 4730 ft^2

4) 7900cm^2

5) 11 542mm^2

6) 3740m^2

7) 6374m^2

8) 2824 ft^2

9) 6004mm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a rectangular prism = 2wl + 2lh + 2hw

Where,

w = width

l = length

h = height

1) Area of a rectangular prism = 2wl + 2lh + 2hw

h = 10m; l = 31m; w = 25m

Area = 2(25m)(31m) + 2(31m)(10m) + 2(10m)(25m)

= 2(775m^2) + 2(310m^2) + 2(250m^2)

= 1550m^2 + 620m^2 + 500m^2

= 2670m^2

2) Area of a rectangular prism = 2wl + 2lh + 2hw

h = 21 in; l = 35 in; w = 29 in

Area = 2(29in)(35in) + 2(35in)(21in) + 2(21in)(29in)

= 2(1015in^2) + 2(735in^2) + 2(609in^2)

= 2030in^2 + 1470in^2 + 1218in^2

= 4718 in^2

3) Area of a rectangular prism = 2wl + 2lh + 2hw

h = 19 ft; l = 39ft; w = 28ft

Area = 2(28ft)(39ft) + 2(39ft)(19ft) + 2(19ft)(28ft)

= 4730 ft^2

4) Area of a rectangular prism = 2wl + 2lh + 2hw

h = 24,cm; l = 49cm; w = 38cm

Area = 2(38cm)(49cm) + 2(49cm)(24cm) + 2(24cm)(38cm)

= 7900cm^2

5) 11 542mm^2

6) 3740m^2

7) 6374m^2

8) 2824 ft^2

9) 6004mm^2
