A The first object will acquire more momentum.

So velocity=displacement/time and force=mass*acceleration. Both objects have the same acceleration because the amount of time doesn’t play a role in the equation. Momentum equation is p=mv so only the mass and overall velocity matter. Therefore, the answer is c because time is not a variable

A truck goes 5 m/s to 25 in 20 seconds. What is the acceleration of the truck during 20-seconds interval?
Aliun [14]

Acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change)

Change in speed = (ending speed) - (starting speed)

Change in speed = (25 m/s) - (5 m/s)  =  20 m/s

Time for the change = 20 sec

Acceleration = (20 m/s) / (20 sec)

<em>Acceleration = 1 m/s²</em>

What characteristic of an element determines how its atoms can bond with other<br>atoms?
wlad13 [49]

Answer:

The number of electron in the outermost shell of a particular atom determine how the reactivity of  atoms to form chemical bonds with other atoms

Explanation:

This is because the number of atoms in the outer shell will determine if the atom has to gain or loose electrons for it to bond with other atoms

Hope this helps, and if it does mark as branliest answer thx

What is a watt second
Rzqust [24]
1 watt is a RATE of using energy ... 1 Joule per second. If you use energy at the RATE of 1 watt and keep it up for 1 whole second, you've used 1 whole Joule of energy. 1 watt-second = 1 Joule .

One airplane is approaching an airport from the north at 181 kn/hr. A second airplane approaches from the east at 278 km/hr. Fin
umka2103 [35]

Answer:

The value  is  \frac{dR}{dt} =  -286.2 \  km/hr

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The speed of the airplane from the north is \frac{dN}{dt} = -181 \ km /hr

The negative sign is because the direction is towards the south

  The speed of the airplane from the east is  \frac{dE}{dt} = -278 \ km/hr

The negative sign is because the direction is towards the west

   The distance of the southbound plane from the airport is  N = 30 \ km

   The distance of the westbound plane is  E = 15 \ km

Generally the distance between the plane is mathematically represented using Pythagoras theorem  as

    R^2  = N^2 + E^2

Next differentiate implicitly this equation to obtain the rate at which the distance between the planes changes

So

     2R\frac{dR}{dt} =  2N \frac{dN}{dt} +   2E\frac{dE}{dt}

Here

     R = \sqrt{N^2 + E^2}

=>    R = \sqrt{30^2 + 15^2}

=>    R = \sqrt{30^2 + 15^2}

=>    R =33.54 \ m

    2(33.54) * \frac{dR}{dt} =  2( 30)*(-181)  +   2*15*(-278)

=>   67.08 * \frac{dR}{dt} =  -19200

=>   \frac{dR}{dt} =  -286.2 \  km/hr

State and explain the kinetic theory of motion
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer: Kinetic theory or kinetic theory of gases attempts to explain overall properties of gases, such as pressure, temperature, or volume, by considering their molecular composition and motion. The theory basically states that pressure is not caused by molecules pushing each other away, like earlier scientists thought.
