Answer:

csc(3π/4) = √2

Step-by-step explanation:

∵ csc(3π/4) = 1 ÷ sin(3π/4)

∵ ∠(3π/4) lies on the second quadrant

∴ sin(3π/4) is positive value (according to ASTC Rule)

* ASTC Rule ⇒ (All +ve in 1st quadrant , Sin +ve in 2nd , Tan +ve

                         in 3rd quadrant , Cos +ve in 4th quadrant)

∴ sin(3π/4) = sin(π - α) ⇒ where α is an acute angle

∴ 3π/4 = π - α ⇒ α = π - 3π/4 = π/4

∵ sin²x + cos²x = 1

∵ sin(π/4) = cos(π/4)

∴ 2sin²(π/4) = 1 ⇒ sin²(π/4) = 1/2 ⇒ sin(π/4) = √(1/2)

∴ sin (π/4) = 1/√2

∴ sin(3π/4) = 1/√2

∴ csc(3π/4) = 1 ÷ 1/√2 = 1 × √2/1 = √2

Answer:

\sqrt{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the trigonometric identity

• csc x = \frac{1}{sinx}

sin( \frac{3\pi }{4}) = sin (\frac{\pi }{4}) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2} }, hence

csc (\frac{3\pi }{4}) = \frac{1}{\frac{1}{\sqrt{2} } } = \sqrt{2}

The Patel family has a disposable income of $90,000 annually. Assume that their marginal propensity to consume is 0.8 (the Patel
Marrrta [24]
To get the annual spending of Patel family, we will need to add the amount of consumption according to their marginal propensity to consume and their autonomous consumption spending. with the formula

Consumption= Autonomous consumption + (Disposable incomeXmarginal propensity )
Where
Autonomous consumption = $10000
Disposable income = $90000
margina propensity = 80%
substitute all given value to get the consumption
Consumption =  $82,000
Patel family annual consumer spending is $82000.

How many solutions are there to the following system of equations? Use any method you like, but be sure to show all work.
Elanso [62]
Multiply the second equation by -2 so it would be 4x-14y=6 and the first is equation is also 4x-14y=6

So there is infinitely many solutions

At the beginning of a snowstorm, Evan had 3 inches of snow on his lawn. The snow then began to fall at a constant rate of 3 inch
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

3+3tt=total amount of snow

Step-by-step explanation:

y=mx+b is used to show increase

In this case, b is the original 3 inches of snow. m is the constant growth, and x is tt, or the amount of time it is being compared to. y is the total.
