Answer:

Explanation:

Each of these types of scientists focus on different research studies and therefore needs different tools. Field Scientists' studies mainly revolve around observations which they, therefore, need only a pen and paper, this may sometimes change when they need bigger machinery to make a certain event occur, but this machinery is dependent on the type of research. The graph below is of directional selection. Which statement can be supported by the evidence shown in the graph?
7nadin3 [17]

Answer: C) Directional selection occurs when one of two extreme phenotypes is selected for.

The type of natural selection known as directional selection is defined in population genetics in the case in which an extreme phenotype is favored over other phenotype. Thus, the population and its allele frequency will evolve towards this end of the trait spectrum (extreme phenotype). This is also the case illustrated in the graph where the right side represents the extreme phenotype.

What happens if a defendant is acquitted
Yuliya22 [10]
A verdict of not guilty constitutes an acquittal. In other words, to find a defendant not guilty is to acquit. At trial, an acquittal occurs when the jury (or the judge if it's a judge trial) determines that the prosecution hasn't proved the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt

A client in her third trimester reports sleeping poorly: sleeping on her back results in lightheadedness and dizziness and lying
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Women are being advised to sleep on their side in the last three months of pregnancy, women in their third trimester are encouraged not to sleep on their backs. When they sleep on their back, the chances of the heavy uterus can reduce blood flow to the uterus and fetus, which can result in a stillbirth. Also, women are encouraged to sleep on their left side, as this is considered the best choice because the uterus naturally alternates to the right during pregnancy and left-sided lying will bring it more to the center and improve blood flow.

To help her sleep, a pillow can be placed between her legs or a long body pillow to support the back are often helpful. When a pillow is placed direct at her back and front, it helps support her body, resulting in a more comfortable position for sleep.

The major reason why she is having lightheadedness and dizziness when she lies on her back is that the weight of her uterus can compress a major blood vessel, called the vena cava, this then disrupts blood flow to the baby, leaving her nauseated, dizzy, and short of breath.
