<u>Answer:</u> The slope of a velocity-time graph represents acceleration.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity with respect to time. It is expressed in the units of m/s^2

Mathematically,

a=\frac{\Delta v}{\Delta t}

For the given options:

Distance-time graph gives us the value of speed.

Velocity-time graph gives us the value of acceleration.

Displacement-time graph gives us the value of velocity.

Hence, the slope of a velocity-time graph represents acceleration.

Difference between atom and ion <br>plz plz answer

Answer:

Pls mark me brainliest

Explanation:

Atoms are neutral; they contain the same number of protons as electrons. By definition, an ion is an electrically charged particle produced by either removing electrons from a neutral atom to give a positive ion or adding electrons to a neutral atom to give a negative ion. When an ion is formed, the number of protons does not change.

Neutral atoms can be turned into positively charged ions by removing one or more electrons. A neutral sodium atom, for example, contains 11 protons and 11 electrons. By removing an electron from this atom we get a positively charged Na+ ion that has a net charge of +1.

Atoms that gain extra electrons become negatively charged. A neutral chlorine atom, for example, contains 17 protons and 17 electrons. By adding one more electron we get a negatively charged Cl- ion with a net charge of -1.

The gain or loss of electrons by an atom to form negative or positive ions has an enormous impact on the chemical and physical properties of the atom. Sodium metal, for example, which consists of neutral sodium atoms, bursts into flame when it comes in contact with water. Neutral chlorine atoms instantly combine to form Cl2 molecules, which are so reactive that entire communities are evacuated when trains carrying chlorine gas derail. Positively charged Na+ and negatively charged Cl- ions are so unreactive that we can safely take them into our bodies whenever we salt our food.

The following data are obtained for the decomposition of N2O5 at a certain temperature: 2N2O5(g) ↔ 4NO2(g) + O2(g) Time(s) 0 200
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

K = 0.0003 s⁻¹

Explanation:

The reaction is

2N₂O₅ = 4NO₂ + O₂

The equilibrium is

K[N_{2} O_{5} ]=-\frac{1}{2} \frac{d[N_{2} O_{5} ]}{dt} \\\int\limits^y_x {d[N_{2} O_{5} ]}{} \, =-2k\int\limits^t_0 {dt} \,\\ln[N_{2} O_{5} ]=-2kt+ln[N_{2} O_{5} ]

a plot is attached

From the plot, the slope is -0.0006

-2 * K = -0.0006

K = 0.0003 s⁻¹

If you need to reverse the following reaction in order for it to be an intermediate reaction in a Hess's law problem, what would
Olin [163]
When reversing a given reaction, we simply change the sign of the standard enthalpy change value. Therefore, the reaction will become:
H₂O → H₂ + 0.5O₂, ΔH = 286kJ
This is because if a certain amount of energy is released when a reaction occurs, the same amount of energy must be supplied for the reaction to occur in the reverse direction.
