Answer:

average speed = 1.73m/s

average velocity = 3.33m/s

Explanation:

<em>we'll</em><em> </em><em>find</em><em> </em><em>the</em><em> </em><em>average</em><em> </em><em>speed</em><em> </em><em>first</em>

<em>average</em><em> </em><em>speed</em><em> </em><em>=</em><em> </em><em>total</em><em> </em><em>distance</em><em> </em><em>/</em><em> </em><em>total</em><em> </em><em>time</em><em> </em>

<em>his</em><em> </em><em>total</em><em> </em><em>distance</em><em> </em><em>is</em><em> </em>300m + 100m

= 400m

and total time should be taken in seconds as you know

((2×60)+50) + 60s

= 230s

so let's divide,

400m/230s

1.73 m/s

next, mean velocity

that is,

mean velocity = final- initial displacement/time

we have to note <em>displacement</em><em> </em>( this is the distance between the initial point to final point) here

the displacement is 300-100

so, 200m

we already calculated total time

but that cant be taken here

230 - 170

is the original time to travel 200m

that is, 60s

so we divide

200/60

3.33m/s

<h2>The different forces acting on the ball while its in air</h2>

Amy throws a softball through the air. Applied, drag and gravitational forces are acting on the ball while it’s in the air. The softball experiences force as a result of Amy’s throw. As the ball moves, it experiences from the air it passes through.

It also experiences a downward pull because earth has the property to attract everything which is on the earth towards it. The ball is moving in the air but earth applies force on the ball to get back on the ground. Hence, in this way, gravitational force applies.

There is also a drag force which results due to friction that is present in the air. It resist to move ball in the air and there will also be applied force which is given by a person who throws by applying force.

In a level parking lot, a man with a mass of 100 kg gives a shove to a boy with a mass of 50 kg who is on roller skates. The boy
natita [175]

Answer:

100N

Explanation:

Newton's third law states that whenever an object exerts a force on a second object, it exerts a force of equal magnitude and direction but in the opposite direction on the first. It is often stated as follows: Each action always opposes an equal but opposite reaction.

The subject 1 of 100kg is making a force F, to move an object from 50Kg to 2m / s ^ 2. This Force the object of 50Kg will reflect it in the opposite direction by Newton's third law.

Once the parameter of the force that both are experiencing is clarified, Newton's second law is applied to their respective calculation.

F = ma = 50kg * 2m / s ^ 2 = 100N

That is the force the boy exert on the man during the shove.
