Answer:

P(total) = 15 atm

Explanation:

Given data:

Pressure of O₂ = 5.75 atm

Pressure of N₂ = 7 atm

Pressure of He = 2.25 atm

Total pressure inside tank = ?

Solution:

According to Dalton law of partial pressure,

The total pressure inside container is equal to the sum of partial pressures of individual gases present in container.

Mathematical expression:

P(total) = P₁ + P₂ + P₃+ ............+Pₙ

Now we will solve this  problem by using this law.

P(total) = P(O₂) + P(N₂) + P(He)

P(total) = 5.75 atm + 7 atm + 2.25 atm

P(total) = 15 atm

Which element in period 4 has the highest electronegativity
vova2212 [387]

<span>Electronegativity is the property of an element that measures the ability of it to attract and form electron bonds. The trend in the periodic table in terms of electronegativity decreases from right to left and from top to bottom. In the case of period 4, the element with the highest electronegativity is bromine. </span>

Answer:

Value = 1.80 g/cm³ (Approx)

Explanation:

Given:

\frac{3.39 \times 10^7g}{(\frac{4}{3} )(3.1416)(1.65 \times 10^2 cm)^3}

Computation:

\frac{3.39 \times 10^7g}{(\frac{4}{3} )(3.1416)(1.65 \times 10^2 cm)^3} \\\\\frac{3.39 \times 10^7g}{(\frac{4}{3} )(3.1416)(4.492125 \times 10^6 cm^3)} \\\\ \frac{3.39 \times 10^7g}{(\frac{4}{3} )(3.1416)(4.492125 \times 10^6 cm^3)}\\\\ \frac{3.39 \times 10^7g}{18.8166132\times 10^6 cm^3} \\\\ 1.80159945g/cm^3

Value = 1.80 g/cm³ (Approx)
