Answer:

P(total) = 15 atm

Explanation:

Given data:

Pressure of O₂ = 5.75 atm

Pressure of N₂ = 7 atm

Pressure of He = 2.25 atm

Total pressure inside tank = ?

Solution:

According to Dalton law of partial pressure,

The total pressure inside container is equal to the sum of partial pressures of individual gases present in container.

Mathematical expression:

P(total) = P₁ + P₂ + P₃+ ............+Pₙ

Now we will solve this  problem by using this law.

P(total) = P(O₂) + P(N₂) + P(He)

P(total) = 5.75 atm + 7 atm + 2.25 atm

P(total) = 15 atm

TEA [102]

Answer:

K=\frac{[CaO][CH_{4}][H_{2}O ]^{2}  }{[CaCO_{2}][H_{2}]^4  }

Explanation:

The equilibrium expression is the K value equal to the product of the concentrations of the products over the product of the concentrations of the reactants.  If there is a coefficient in front of the compound, raise the molecule to that power.

Since K is big, more product is expected.  This is because of mathematic principles.  A large numerator with a small denominator will produce a large number.

How does the size of ions affect the conductivity of a solution?
mrs_skeptik [129]

Small ions have small areas. There is less resistance as they move through the solution.

For example, in molten salts, the conductivity of <span>Li+</span> is greater than that of <span>Cs+</span>.

Small ions have high charge density.
