Remember
\sqrt{x^2}=x
and
\sqrt[3]{x^3}=x

so
\sqrt{x^2}+\sqrt[3]{y^3}=
x+y

another way is this:
remember that
\sqrt[n]{x^m}=x^\frac{m}{n}
and remember that \sqrt{x}=\sqrt[2]{x}

so
\sqrt{x^2}+\sqrt[3]{y^3}=
x^\frac{2}{2}+y^\frac{3}{3}=
x^1+y^1=
x+y

A flower bed is in the shape of triangle with one side twice the length of the shortest side, and the third side is 26 feet more
Gre4nikov [31]
We'll let x be the shortest side since it's used in both comparisons.
x + 2x + (x+26) = 178
With that equation you should be able to simplify and get each. If you have any questions about how I got that feel free to ask.

Step-by-step explanation:

Using unitary method

For 20 fingers = 55 g butter

For 1 g butter = 20/55 fingers

=> For 1 g butter = 4/11 fingers (Simplified form)

Multiplying both sides by 75

=> for 75 g butter =

=> For 75 g butter ≈ 27 fingers ( approximately )"
