Remember
$\sqrt{x^2}=x$
and
$\sqrt[3]{x^3}=x$

so
$\sqrt{x^2}+\sqrt[3]{y^3}=$
$x+y$



another way is this:
remember that
$\sqrt[n]{x^m}=x^\frac{m}{n}$
and remember that $\sqrt{x}=\sqrt[2]{x}$

so
$\sqrt{x^2}+\sqrt[3]{y^3}=$
$x^\frac{2}{2}+y^\frac{3}{3}=$
$x^1+y^1=$
$x+y$

Square root x2 and then square root 3 and y3 with the exponents I belive you should try and use the Property of Power for this one.
