Answer:

The current must be 5 times larger

Explanation:

The equation for Inductance, is given by;

L = (μ_o•N²•A)/l

Where;

μ_o is the permeability of the core material

N is the number of turns

A is the cross sectional Area

l is the length of the coil in meters

L is the inductance

However, we also need to find an expression for the Energy Stored, and the equation is given by;

U = (1/2)LI²

Where;

L is the inductance

I is the current.

We also know that U is proportional to the number of turns and the current.

Thus, we can conclude that;

N_2/N_1 = I_1/I_2

From the question, we are told that the number of turns is reduces by 1/5. Thus,

1/5 = I_1/I_2

So, I_2 = 5I_1

So the current must be 5 times larger

a bubble of air of volume 1cm^3 is released by a deep sea diver at a depth where the pressure is 4.0 atmospheres. assuming its t
lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

hope this helps!

Explanation:

Volume of the air bubble, V1=1.0cm3=1.0×10−6m3

Bubble rises to height, d=40m

Temperature at a depth of 40 m, T1=12oC=285K

Temperature at the surface of the lake, T2=35oC=308K

The pressure on the surface of the lake: P2=1atm=1×1.103×105Pa

The pressure at the depth of 40 m: P1=1atm+dρg

Where,

ρ is the density of water =103kg/m3

g is the acceleration due to gravity =9.8m/s2

∴P1=1.103×105+40×103×9.8=493300Pa

We have T1P1V1=T2P2V2

Where, V2 is the volume of the air bubble when it reaches the surface.

V2=

In any energy transformation, there is always some energy that gets wasted as non-useful heat.
Nady [450]
It is a completely false statement that in any energy transformation, there is always some energy that gets wasted as non-useful heat. The correct option among the two options that are given in the question is the second option. I hope that this is the answer that has actually come to your desired help.

A circular wire loop of radius 15.0 cm carries a current of 2.60
Korolek [52]
Part (a): Magnetic dipole moment

Magnetic dipole moment = IA, I = Current, A = Area of the loop
Then,
Magnetic dipole moment = 2.6*π*0.15^2 = 0.184 Am^2

Part (b): Torque acting on the loop
T = IAB SinФ, where B = Magnetic field, Ф = Angle
Then,
T = Magnetic dipole moment*B*SinФ = 0.184*12*Sin 41 = 1.447 Nm
