Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy is a heart condition where the walls of the heart get thicker and eventually, the heart can't get blood properly and subsequently stops working. This condition is genetic and usually goes undiagnosed, but only a small number of people die from it.

Withdrawal is another component of physical dependence. That's when the medication is stopped abruptly or the dose is lowered too quickly and a person experiences unpleasant symptoms
