A bar slides vertically between two conducting rails without friction in a magnetic field. The rails are connected via a resisto
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

The energy dissipated is  E =  9.8 J

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The distance covered at constant velocity d = 2 m

      The velocity is  v = 1.5 \ m/s

Generally at constant velocity the magnetic force on the bar is mathematically represented as

         F  =  m * g

substituting values

        F  =   0.5 *  9.8

        F  =   4.9 \ N

The energy dissipated is mathematically evaluate as

         E =  F * d

substituting the value

         E =  4.9  * 2

        E =  9.8 J

The table below shows the acceleration of gravity on different bodies in the solar system.
levacccp [35]

Do you remember the formula for potential energy ?

PE = (mass) (gravity) (height)

If the mass and the height are always the same, then the least PE comes from the least gravity. Surely you can find THAT in the table.

Arturiano [62]
In order for Ren who runs a harmburger stand and needed to clean up a season's worth of grease buildup, the cleaning product that he should look for that can handle a layer of grease would be those caustic chemicals. These caustic chemicals can be applied to break down the grease. When these grease are broken down, hot water can be applied to rinse it. These chemicals should be allowed to dwell on the surface of grease for a period of time to soften the grease buildup. Hope this answer helps.
