Neuron is a cell of the nervous system that is involved in carrying of impulses between the nervous system and the rest of the body. There are three types of neurons namely; relay neuron, motor neuron and the sensory neuron. Neuron is made up of various parts that enhance is activity in transmission of impulses/information which includes, dendrites, cell body, axon, myelin sheath among others. The conduction of information in the neuron starts from the Dendrites, then to the cell body, to axon and then to synapse where a neuron links with another and the process is repeated. Therefore; the correct answer is C

The correct order of the parts of the neuron with respect to the direction of the action potential is "dendrite, cell body, axon, synapse".

The dendrites receive impulses from the synapse of another neuron. Then these impulses are propagated towards the neuron cell body then to the axon. In some nerves, axons are wrapped by myelin sheath and the impulses travel per node of Ranvier (saltatory conduction), which offers faster transmission of signals. Then the impulse or action potential will trigger series of events that will eventually lead to the release of neurotransmitters and transmit impulses to another neuron.

The data in the graph are the result of a paramecium being placed in a hypertonic salt solution.
leonid [27]

Answer:

Replace the concentration descriptions with actual values.

Explanation:

A graph is used to convey real, accurate and objective information. The use of the description of the concentrations in place of the real values, does not represent an accurate information, but a subjective and imprecise information. For this reason, to improve the quality of this graph and allow the readers to fully understand it, it would be necessary to replace the descriptions of concentration with real values.

One of Mendel’s principles also describes how different genes assemble unregulated with one another when reproductive cells deve
Lisa [10]

Ansnswer:

False.

No Mendel principled talk about how different genes assemble unregulated with one another to develop reproductive cells

Explanation:

Gregor Mendel was a scientist and the founder of modern science genetics. He made so findings in 1865 and He proposed three laws and they are;

Law of independent assortment which states that two alleles from different genes separated independently to form gamete.

Law of segregation states that a pair of gene separated to for reproductive cells.

Law of dorminant inheritance states that in heterozygote, dorminant allele will masked the recessive allele.

plz help! explain how science uses fossil evidence to support the theory of evolution. (I will mark brainliest)
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:skeletal evidence of evolution

Explanation:

So I’m not sure the best way to explain this, will edit in one second

So basically some creatures have leftover bones or other features that have no benefit but they also aren’t detrimental, and they are the result of evolution. There is a great video on bad animal skeletons by Sam O Nella Academy, it has some strong languages so inappropriate jokes, probably, all of them do, and this is middle school biology so watch at your own risk, but I think a pint you could bring up that your teacher would be impressed by is really any animal with a weird skeleton, for example dolphins who just have a random bone image where their legs used to be, they obviously don’t have legs but their ancestors did and to this day they still have a random bit of bone where an ancestor of theirs used to have legs, so skeletons help connect what a common ancestor looked like to what the current species looks like through similar bone structure and/or left over bones, such as dolphins who have a plate where an ancestor used to have legs

Answer:

Throughout the overview segment elsewhere here, the benefits including its particular circumstance are listed.

Explanation:

  • Being willing to hunt with either a community relatively successfully, thereby increasing their likelihood of succeeding as well as physical inactivity.
  • Selective pressures such as illness as well as predators will assist to evolve altruism because grooming allows the person to have been groomed first, but also protects diseases from being transmitted through lack of hygiene.
  • Grooming encourages people to bond, which enables less friction and increases development by increasing security.
