Answer:

y - x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Points (-2,0) and (-3,-1)

Required

Equation of Line

The first step is to determine the slope of the line; using the following formula

m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}

Where\ (x_1,y_1) = (-2,0)\ and\ (x_2,y_2) = (-3,-1)

m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} becomes

m = \frac{-1 -0}{-3 - (-2)}

m = \frac{-1}{-3 +2}

m = \frac{-1}{-1}

m = 1

The next is to determine the equation of the line using any of the points

The formula is as thus;

m = \frac{y - y_1}{x - x_1}\ or\  m = \frac{y - y_2}{x - x_2}

Using m = \frac{y - y_1}{x - x_1}

Where\ (x_1,y_1) = (-2,0)\ and\ m =1

1  = \frac{y-0}{x - (-2)}

1  = \frac{y-0}{x +2}

1  = \frac{y}{x +2}

Multiply both sides by x + 2

(x+2)*1  = \frac{y}{x +2} * (x+2)

(x+2)*1  = y

x+2  = y

y = x + 2

Subtract x from both sides

y - x = x - x +2

y - x = 2

Hence, the equation of the line in standard form is y - x = 2

Answer:

729 m³

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a cube (or a rectangular prism) formula:

lwh

l is length

w is width

h is height

Here, the length, width, and height measures 9 m.

So

9 × 9 × 9 or 9³ = 729

Jarred sells DVDs. His inventory shows that he has a total of 3,500 DVDs. He has 2,342 more contemporary titles than classic tit
cestrela7 [59]
X + y = 3,500 . . . (1)
x – y = 2,342 . . . (2)
(1) - (2) => 2y = 1158
y = 1158/2 = 579
x = 3500 - 579 = 2921

Therefore, he had 2,921 contempolary titles and 579 classic titles.

Owen runs a pet store that sells rabbits. He wants to ensure he has more than 1 pound of dry food for every four rabbits he has
frosja888 [35]
0.25 pounds= 1 rabbit.
Let say he has 23 rabbits, but the he would need an extra 0.05 pound of dry food for the 23rd rabbit.
But if he has 22 rabbits, then Owen has .2 pounds of dry food to spare.
The answer would be 22 rabbits.
