The direction of the magnetic field around a wire depends on
the direction of the current flowing through the wire.  When you
change the direction of the current in the wire, the direction of the
magnetic field around it also changes direction.

The current in every electric cord in your house changes its direction
120 times every second.  So the magnetic field around every electric
cord in your house also changes its direction 120 times every second.

Calculate the amount of heat (kcal) released when 50.0g of steam at 100*c hits the skin, condenses, and cools to a body temperat
luda_lava [24]
As the steam touches the skin, it undergoes a phase change and releases latent heat due to the phase change. As it reaches equilibrium, it releases sensible heat. We calculate as follows:

Q = latent heat + sensible Heat
Q = 2.26 kJ / g (50.0 g) + 50.0 g ( 4.18 J / g C) (37 C - 100 C) ( 1 kJ / 1000 J)
Q = 99.833 kJ

An airplane takes off at an angle of 75° from its starting point. when the plane has traveled a total distance of 600 feet, its
Alexxandr [17]
Draw a right triangle so that its hypotenuse is 600 ft. The adjacent side is below the vertical, and it makes an angle of 75° with the hypotenuse.

Let h =  height of the right triangle.
By definition,
sin75° = h/600
h = 600*sin75° = 579.555 = 580 ft (nearest ft)

Answer: 580 ft (nearest foot)

We dont got the force so i got no clue what to do
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

work = 1275.3 J

Explanation:

work = (force)(distance)cosø ------- force = ma

=(mass*acceleration)(distance)cosø

=(20*9.81)(6.5)cos0

=1275.3J

nite that the angle of cosine is the difference between the angle of force and the distance. in this case, the force and the distance are in the same direction. :)

B. Why does the moon revolve around the earth? Give<br>reason.[2]
LenKa [72]

Answer:

The moon revolves around Earth because Earth is larger than the moon, so it is heavier, and has a greater gravitational pull. The plane of the moon's orbit is very close to the plane of Earth's orbit around the Sun. This is why planets revolve around the Sun, because it is larger, so therefore it has a greater gravitational pull.
