Actually I would say that it is all of the above as acceleration is a change in speed or direction. The car is changing directions by going around, the bicycle is slowing down and the skate border is speeding up, both of which are changes in speed.

Q. Which object is accelerating?

A: A skateboarder speeding up as he skates down a ramp.

The car is not accelerating as it is travelling at constant velocity. Acceleration refers to the rate of change of velocity of an object over time. Thus, there is no acceleration for the car.

The bicycle is not accelerating as it is decelerating (slowing down). This is not to be confused with accelerating in the opposite direction. Deceleration refers to the rate at which an object slows down. Deceleration is a scalar quantity whereas acceleration is a vector quantity. Yeah.

The final one isn't right, well, because the first two options are wrong.

So through process of elimination, you can deduce that the skateboarder experiences acceleration.

Also, the skateboarder experiences acceleration as he is "speeding up", implying that his speed is not constant and in fact increasing, so there's acceleration.

I need some help with with question:
defon

Answer:

C1V1=C2V2

C1 is 2.0mol/l

V1=?

C2=.4mol/L

V2=100ml or for this 0.1L

V1 is 20ml

Best way to prepare this is to measure out 20ml of the 2 molar solution and add 80mL to it to get to 100mL

How do atmospheric updrafts affect clouds?
Andru [333]

Answer:

Updrafts characterize a storm's early development, during which warm air rises to the level where condensation begins and precipitation starts to develop. In a mature storm, updrafts are present alongside downdrafts caused by cooling and by falling precipitation.

Hope it helps
