Which of these organisms would have the best chance of becoming part of the fossil record?

Biology

A fish. Fossilisation requires very specific set of conditions - the creature in question has to have hard parts to be preserved, then it must die and end up somewhere where it won't be eaten or disturbed, it must be Anoxic so it won't decompose normally, it must be buried.

The fish has a bony skeleton, lives in the ocean. So, it may die, sink to the anoxic bottom part of an ocean/lake, be covered by sediment and maybe become a fossil, if nothing disturbs it.

Why is the chaparral biome not sensitive to the loss of a single species? A) Other organisms can easily migrate to the chaparral
GenaCL600 [577]

The correct answer is D. These is large amount of biodiversity in the chaparral

The chaparral biome consists of different types of terrain such as mountains and plains. This biome is similar to the desert biome due to hot and dry conditions prevail in both the biomes, but chaparral biome receives more rainfall than the desert biome. This biome is characterized by having both forests and grassland with a large amount of biodiversity. The vast biodiversity  insulate the biome from loss of single a single species. Thus, the chaparral biome is not too sensitive to the loss of a single species.

What is the appropriate technique to stimulate a baby to breathe?
alukav5142 [94]
One can stimulate a baby to breathe by slapping  his butt or by flicking the soles of his feet. This is normally done in order to stimulate a baby to take his first breath through the process of crying. Crying will force the baby to take his first breath and at the same time, it will enable the lungs and the airways to be cleared of liquid substances.
