R=K[NO]²[Cl2]¹
When we look at the rate of reaction formula,
we can see exponent of [NO] =2, that means that order of reaction with respect to NO equals 2.
We can see that exponent of [Cl2] =1, that means that order of reaction with respect to Cl2 equals 1.
Overall order of reaction = 2+1 = 3

If concentration of NO is tripled, then
R=K[NO]²[Cl2]
R1=K(3[NO])²[Cl2]=9K[NO]²[Cl2]=9R.
If the concentration of NO is tripled, then rate will increase 9 times.

The volume of a diamond is found to be 2.8 ml. what is the mass of the diamond in carats?
Helen [10]

Answer:

49.14 carat.

Explanation:

From the question given above, we obtained the following data:

Volume of diamond = 2.8 mL

Mass of diamond (in carat) =.?

Next, we shall determine the mass of diamond in grams (g). This can be obtained as follow:

Volume of diamond = 2.8 mL

Density of diamond = 3.51 g/mL

Mass of diamond ( in grams) =?

Density = mass /volume

3.51 = mass /2.8

Cross multiply

Mass of diamond (in g) = 3.51 × 2.8

Mass of diamond (in g) = 9.828 g

Finally, we shall Convert 9.828 g to carat. This can be obtained as follow:

1 g = 5 carat

Therefore,

9.828 g = 9.828 g /1 g × 5 carat

9.828 g = 49.14 carat.

Therefore, the mass of the diamond in carat is 49.14 carat.

1.) Machines, which separate by shape, remove barley, oats and small seeds. Gravity separation removes stones and, throughout the cleaning process, air currents lift off dust and chaff.

2.)Semolina flour differs from white flour in the way it's processed and the type of wheat that's used. Semolina is made with grooved steel rollers. The rollers crack the starch of wheat kernels into coarse pieces which is then ground into flour. The starch itself is the semolina.
3.) Whole Wheat flour or Whole grain flour is milled from the complete seed and nothing is removed. This adds not only fiber but all the minerals and vitamins in the different layers of the wheat seed.
