Answer:

Although this question is not complete, I would give a general solution to this kind of problems.

If y(t) describes the position of a body with time such that

y(t) = at^(n) + bt^(m) + C

Then

V(t) = dy(t)/dt = ant^(n-1) + bmt^(m-1)

Explanation:

As an example supplies the position of a particle is given by

y(t) = 4t³- 3t² + 9

V(t) = 4x3t²- 3x2t¹

V(t) = d(t)/dt = 12t² - 6t.

Another example,

If y(t) = 15t³ - 2t² + 30t -80

V(t) = d(t)/dt = 15x3t² - 4t +30 = 45t² + 4t + 30.

Basically, in the equations above the powers of t reduces by one when computing the velocity function from y(t) by differentiation (calculating the derivative of y(t)). The constant term C (9 and 80 in the functions of y(t) in examples 1and 2 above) reduces to zero because the derivative of a constant (and ordinary number without the t attached to it) is always zero.

One last example,

y(t) = 2t^6 -3t²

V(t) = d(t)/dt = 12t^5 - 6t

In dragons, the allele B produces blue body color. The allele b produces green body color. The B allele is dominant to the b all
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

bb

Explanation:

Allele B codes for blue colour.

Allele b codes for green colour.

A gene is usually denoted by two alleles and allele B is dominant over allele b. This means that when B and b are together as Bb, blue colouration will be expressed while green colouration will be repressed.

Hence, for the green colouration to be expressed, B must not be present. <em>The genotype therefore must be bb.</em>

The displacement (in meters) of a particle moving in a straight line is given by the equation of motion s = 6/t2, where t is mea
ycow [4]

Answer:

Velocity of the particle at time t = a

        v(a)=-\frac{12}{a^3}

Velocity of the particle at time t = 1

         v(1)=-12m/s

Velocity of the particle at time t = 2

         v(2)=-1.5m/s

Velocity of the particle at time t = 3

          v(3)=-0.44m/s

Explanation:

Displacement,

          s(t)=\frac{6}{t^2}

Velocity is given by

          v(t)=\frac{ds}{dt}=\frac{d}{dt}\left ( \frac{6}{t^2}\right )=-\frac{12}{t^3}

Velocity of the particle at time t = a

        v(a)=-\frac{12}{a^3}

Velocity of the particle at time t = 1

         v(1)=-\frac{12}{1^3}=-12m/s

Velocity of the particle at time t = 2

         v(2)=-\frac{12}{2^3}=-1.5m/s

Velocity of the particle at time t = 3

          v(3)=-\frac{12}{3^3}=-0.44m/s

A baseball player hits a ball with a bat. At one moment the force exerted by the bat on the ball is 18,000 N. At that same momen
11111nata11111 [884]

Answer:

Less than 18000N

Explanation:

Given

Force\ Exerted = 18000N

This question will be answered using Newton's third law.

Understanding this law, it implies that reaction force is equal and opposite to the force exerted.

This implies that;

If the force exerted on the ball is 18000N

the force exerted is -18000N

So, the option that answers the question is less than 18000N because -18000N < 18000N

If a boat and its riders have a mass of 1100 kg and the boat drifts in at 1.3 m/s how much work does Sam do to stop it
andriy [413]

Answer:

-929.5Joules

Explanation:

To get the work done by sam, we will calculate the kinetic energy of sam expressed as;

KE = 1/2mv²

m is the mass = 1100kg

v is the velocity = 1.3m/s

KE = 1/2(1100)(1.3)²

KE = 550(1.69)

KE = 929.5Joules

Since Sam is opposing the direction of movement, work done by him will be a negative work i.e -929.5Joules

If you do 200 joules of work using a force of 50 newtons, over what distance was the force applied ?
harina [27]
By using the formula for work, we can derive the force

W = Fd
F= \frac{W}{d} = \frac{200}{50} = 4 N
