Answer:

Option 1. Inspect the overlying skin for signs/symptoms of infection.

Explanation:

An endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedure is the procedure whereby a physician makes use of a camera to view the pancreatic and bile ducts of the patients.

The camera that is used is called and endoscope. An ERCP endoscope is long and flexible tube that contains a camera( a lens and a source of light) which is inserted into the mouth of the patient and a small incision is made at the stomach specifically the region where the bile and the pancreatic duct is located also know as the ampulla, so that the other end of the endoscope is passed out from there.

Another plastic tube is inserted into the end of the endoscope into the bile and pancreatic ducts , a dye is injected through this duct and pictures are taken using the camera in the endoscope.

Due to the incision made on the stomach to be able to allow the end of the endoscope to the passed out from there, it is necessary that such incision are properly stitched and treated to prevent the risk of infections. This is why it is appropriate to check the overlying skin of the patient or client for infections.

CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

During the first year of life, your baby will grow and develop at an amazing speed. Her weight will double by 5 to 6 months, and triple by her first birthday. And she is constantly learning. Major achievements—called developmental milestones—include rolling over, sitting up, standing and possibly walking.

Explanation:

Rolling over, crawling, walking, and talking are all considered milestones. The milestones are different for each age range. There is a normal range in which a child may reach each milestone. For example, walking may begin as early as 8 months in some children.
