Coal burning power plants produce electricity by burning of coal in a boiler to produce steam. The produced steam under the tremendous pressure directly flows into the turbine, the turbine spins the generator to produce electricity. The produced steam is converted into liquid water by the condenser this liquid water then returns to the boiler to the start the process again.
