6x/6=x>/= (=) 11/6

x=11/6 or about 1.8

the first important notation to remember when graphing inequalities is that the graph is going to face the way the inequality sign is pointing.

in this case, the sign is pointing right. now the second thing to remember is that an inequality sign with a line underneath it means that it is greater/equal to so the graph in which we fill will have be a closed circle

1) start the ray at ~1.8 and fill in the circle at the end of the ray then extend to its endpoint

that's all. you're graph now reads x is greater or equal to 11/6

Answer:

x = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

The exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the 2 opposite interior angles.

50° is an exterior angle of the triangle, thus

38 + 4x - 24 = 50 , that is

14 + 4x = 50 ( subtract 14 from both sides )

4x = 36 ( divide both sides by 4 )

x = 9

The perimeter of a kite is 52 meters. If one side measures 19 meters find the measure of the opposite side.
Setler [38]

For any kite, we have two pairs of congruent adjacent sides. In general, the kite would have sides of x, x, y , y. In this case, x = 19 is known while y is unknown.

The four sides add up to 52, so

x+x+y+y = perimeter

19+19+y+y = 52

38+2y = 52

2y+38-38 = 52-38 .... subtract 38 from both sides

2y = 14

2y/2 = 14/2 ... divide both sides by 2

y = 7

Therefore the opposite side of the 19 meter side is 7 meters

Answer: B) 7 meters

Bill spent 70 on fertilizer and weed killer for his lawn .Each pound of fertilizer cost 50 cents and each once of weed killer co
meriva

An equation that correctly represent this relationship if x represents the number of pounds of fertilizer and y the number of ounces of weed killer is 0.5x + 3.5y = 70

Solution:

Given that, Bill spent 70 on fertilizer and weed killer for his lawn

Each pound of fertilizer cost 50 cents and each once of weed killer cost 3.50

We have to write an equation, if x represents the number of pounds of fertilizer and y the number of ounces of weed killer.

Now, total amount = amount for fertilizers + amount for weed killers.

Total amount = number of pounds of fertilizers x cost per pound + number of ounces of weed killer x cost per ounce.

\begin{array}{l}{\rightarrow 70=x \times 0.50+y \times 3.50} \\\\ {\rightarrow 0.5 x+3.5 y=70}\end{array}

Hence, the equation is 0.5x + 3.5y = 70
