An electrolyte is a substance that will conduct electricity when dissolved in water. a substance that conducts electricity well

is a strong electrolyte. a substance that conducts electricity poorly is a weak electrolyte. in contrast, a substance that does not conduct electricity when dissolved in water is a nonelectrolyte. watch the video about the electrolytic properties of sodium chloride, nacl, and sugar. part a watch the animation, then check off the samples that will conduct electricity. check all that apply. hints check all that apply. solid nacl solid sugar sugar solution nacl solution

The substances that will direct power is the NaCl solution. Sodium chloride in its strong structure don't direct power since the compound is steady and reinforced well so there are no accessible charge bearers.

Further Explanation:

In any case, when this salt is broken up in water, it ionizes or separates into sodium particles and chloride particles. Then again, strong sugar and a fluid arrangement of sugar don't lead power since the bond engaged with this mixes is covalent, no ionization would happen. At the point when sugar is broken up in water it remains as a particle so there will be no accessible charge transporters to allow power to stream.

Sodium chloride:

Sodium chloride, normally known as salt, is an ionic compound with the substance recipe NaCl, speaking to a 1:1 proportion of sodium and chloride particles. With molar masses of 22.99 and 35.45 g/mol individually, 100 g of NaCl contains 39.34 g Na and 60.66 g Cl.

you make NaCl solution:

1. Dissolve 9 g NaCl (mw 58.44) in 700 ml deionized or refined water in clean compartment.

2. Add water to bring complete arrangement volume to 1000 ml.

3. Make 10 ml aliquots in sterile 15 ml culture tubes.

The substances that will conduct electricity is the NaCl solution. Sodium chloride in its solid form do not conduct electricity since the compound is stable and bonded well so there are no available charge carriers. However, when this salt is dissolved in water, it ionizes or dissociates into sodium ions and chloride ions. On the other hand, solid sugar and an aqueous solution of sugar do not conduct electricity since the bond involved in this compounds is covalent, no ionization would occur. When sugar is dissolved in water it stays as a molecule so there will be no available charge carriers to let electricity flow.

Help please thanks you
scoundrel [369]

Explanation:

Ok so water is H2O and cabon dioxide in the air is CO2, so the water goes through the carbon dioxide and makes acid rain H2SO4.

Now we have our limestone which is CaCO3.

What happens is that the acid breaks apart our limestone into Ca2+ and CO3 2-. This then reforms into Calcium bicarbonate Ca(CO3)2.

Calcium bicarbonate is soluble in water and is hence washed away by the rain eroding the limestone.

Which of the compounds, kh, nh3, c2h6 and hf are ionic compounds?
Readme [11.4K]

The compound which is ionic is Kh

Kh is ionic because ionic compound  is made  between a metal and a non metal. K( potassium)   is a metal while H (hydrogen) is a non metal. The bond between potassium and hydrogen form ionic bond whereby potassium loses one electron and hydrogen gain one electron to form an ionic compound.
