Explanation:

Silver and gold are very precious metals while bronze is an alloy. Alloys are the mixture of two or more than two metals or neon metals. The atomic number of silver and gold are 47 and 79 respectively. Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin.

Silver and gold are both malleable and ductile metals. They also belongs from transition metals. They possess lusture i.e. they possess quality of reflecting light from its surface. Silver is a very good conductor of heat and electricity. Gold is also a good conductor. But copper is used in electrical appliances because it is cheaper.

Answer:

Silver is a malleable and ductile metal having atomic number 47 and symbol Ag. Gold on the hand has atomic number 79 and symbol Au. It is also ductile and malleable. Both are soft and lustrous in nature. Both are transition metals.

Bronze is an alloy of majority of copper and some amount of tin. Formation of alloy enhances the properties of the metal and its industrial use. Bronze is harder than copper and easily fusible and easy to cast. It is resists corrosion.

Silver and gold have different atomic numbers, different colors. Both are transition elements where as Bronze is an alloy.

What did Rutherford’s model of the atom include that Thomson’s model did not have?
Ksivusya [100]
Rutherford overturned Thomson's model in 1911 with his well-known gold foil experiment in which he demonstrated that the atom has a tiny and heavy nucleus. Rutherford designed an experiment to use the alpha particles emitted by a radioactive element as probes to the unseen world of atomic structure.

A forward horizontal force of 12n is used to pull a crate across a horizontal floor at a constant velocity. If the crate weighs
kow [346]

Explanation:

μ = coefficient of friction.

F = Frictional force = 12N

R = Normal reaction = mg = Weight = 240N

m = mass

g = acceleration due to gravity ≈ 9.8ms—²

μ = F/R

μ = 12/240

μ = ¹/20

μ = 0.05

Suppose a skydiver (mass = 80kg) is falling toward the Earth. Calculate the skydiver’s gravitational potential energy at a point
Vlad [161]
Ep is gravitational potential energy
m is mass (kg)
g is gravitational field strength (N/kg)
h is height (m)

Ep= mgh
= 80kg*9.8N/kg*100m
= 78 400 J

Compare the outermost electrons of an atom with the inner most electrons of an atom in terms of energy
iris [78.8K]
The innermost electron of an atom has the lowest level of energy while the outermost electron has the highest level of energy.
There are different energy levels in the atoms of elements, for an atom to go into an higher level it has to obtain more energy and to go to lower level it has to lose energy.
