I believe you ask about speed at the end of the hose:

The volume of the bucket is 225 liters which is equal to 225 dm^{3}.
V=225dm^{3}
Hose's cross section can be counted with the typical circle's area formula (with diameter instead of radius, that's why you've got a fraction):
A=3,14*\frac{d^{2}}{4}}=0,19625dm^{2}

225dm^{3} are filled within 15 second.

As the bucket is being filled you can say that it's volume is the volume of the water that flowed out of the hose, then:
V=A*h
The speed of the water can be counted with equation:
v=\frac{h}{t}
After extracting h from the volume's equation you get:
v=\frac{V}{A*t}
When you count the fraction you get the answer:
v=76,43\frac{dm}{s}=0,7643\frac{m}{s}

How does a circuit breaker protect a refrigerator?
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

When the circuit breaker trips and turns off, it can shut off power to the appliance. This not only protects your home from damage, but it also protects the appliance itself.

Explanation:

What is a circuit breaker. A circuit breaker is an electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overcurrent/overload or short circuit. Its basic function is to interrupt current flow after protective relays detect a fault.

An inflatable raft (unoccupied) floats down a river at an approximately constant speed of 5.2 m/s. A child on a bridge, 63 m abo
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:18.64 m

Explanation:

Given

speed of raft=5.2 m/s

height of bridge=63 m

let the distance between the raft and bridge be x

t = time taken by stone to reach at bottom

x=5.2\times t

h=ut+\frac{at^2}{2}

63=0+\frac{9.8t^2}{2}

t^2=12.857

t=3.58 s

x=5.2\times 3.58=18.64 m

A student puts a beaker of boiling water where it touches a block of ice.
Bumek [7]

Answer:

Option (A).

Explanation:

When a hot and a cold objects come in thermal contact with each other,exchange of heat takes place between them until thermal equilibrium is reached.

In this process thermal energy flows from high temperature to low.

Therefore, when a beaker of boiling water comes in touch with a block of ice,

Thermal energy starts flowing from boiling water to block of ice until equilibrium is established.

Option (A) will be the answer.
