Answer:

A. CALVING

Explanation:

To answer you want to examine every word carefully but before we can do so we need to know what the word erosion and sedimentation means.

Erosion- the process of eroding or being eroded by wind, water, or other natural agents

he gradual destruction or diminution of something. the gradual destruction of tissue or tooth enamel by physical or chemical action.

Sedimentation-the process of settling or being deposited as a sediment.

Okay now that we understand what erosion and sedimentation means we can start looking at the answer chooses.

I'm going to start with answer choose D and work my way up to A.

D.Fracking...hmmm what is fracking.. Fracking is the process of injecting (man doing) liquid at high pressures into a rock or surface. Erosion is a natural cause and is caused by natures course and erosion happeneds over period of TIME. So this answer is INCORRECT.

C. shrinking... hmmm from my prior knowledge of this word shrinking means to make small but lets look it up for a better understanding. "becoming smaller in size or amount." This answer might seem right at first because glaciers are Ice and when they melt it causes it to shrink in size But this does not explain erosion or sedimentation. So this is INCORRECT

B.Drilling.... " the action of making a hole in something by boring with a drill." Who drills into the earth? Men so this is incorrect erosion is called by nature not man.

A. calving ...."(of an iceberg or glacier) split and shed (a smaller mass of ice)." Ice breaking or sheding into pieces. If you think about it shed mean small pieces so sediments are made from pieces of rock or Glaciers or any hard object of nature. With these pieces sedimentation can begin. But how did the chunks shed off? Erosion. Strong winds or water can slowly make cracks in ice until it splits and break off.

What is the pressure of 1.50 moles of a gas in a 30.0L tank at a temperature of<br> 285K?
julia-pushkina [17]

The pressure of the gas : 1.1685 atm

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

In general, the gas equation can be written

\large {\boxed {\bold {PV = nRT}}}

where

P = pressure, atm

V = volume, liter

n = number of moles

R = gas constant = 0.08206 L.atm / mol K

T = temperature, Kelvin

n=moles=1.5

V=volumes = 30 L

T=temperature=285 K

The pressure :

\tt P=\dfrac{nRT}{V}\\\\n=\dfrac{1.5\times 0.082\times 285}{30}\\\\P=1.1685~atm
