g^2 14g+40

replace g with 5

5^2 +14(5) +40 = 25 + 70 +40 = 135 square feet

Area =L x W

 using your choices multiply 15 x 9 = 135

 so answer is 15 feet by 9 feet

To solve this, you need to plug in your solution to your variable.

g² + 14g + 40

5² + 14(5) + 40

25 + 70 + 40

So, your area would be 135.

Out of your 4 options, you need to find out which dimensions create 130.

20 × 2 = 40
4 × 12 = 48
12 × 7 = 84
15 × 9 = 135

Your dimensions are 15ft by 9ft :)

Hope this helps!

What’s the best way to revise for maths? can never remember how to do anything.
Allisa [31]

Repetition is a guaranteed way to learn something. If it is a formula you need to learn, try doing flashcards and reading it over and over again until you can spell it without the flahcard. If it is something like factoring, just do a bunch of factoring problems until you get the feel of it.

Michael spends an average of $120 per month going out to lunch and dinner. If he can cut that
expeople1 [14]

Answer:

If he spends $120 dollars a month, and he cut's that down to $50 a month, we should create a pattern to visualize the months.

Step-by-step explanation:

120- 50= 70 ($70 saved each month)

Month 1- $70 saved total

Month 2- $140 saved total

Month 3- $210 saved total

Month 4- $280 saved total

Month 5- $350 saved total

Month 6- $420 saved total

It takes 6 months to get 400 saved. We could also divide to get

5.714285, but it would takes 6 months before reaching the goal. :)
