The equation you need to know in order to solve this problem is v=v0+at, where v is final velocity, v0 is initial velocity, a is acceleration, and t is time. Plug in and solve:

30=0+a(8)

30=8a

*Divide both sides by 8*

a=3/75m/s^2

Hope this helps!!

zysi [14]
It should be A.
A ball bouncing is moving so if it’s moving that means it has kinetic energy. It also has potential energy because when it hits the floor it kind of stops so it has potential.

What is Newton's law of motion
const2013 [10]

Explanation:

Newton’s first law states that, if a body is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line, it will remain at rest or keep moving in a straight line at constant speed unless it is acted upon by a force

2nd- is a quantitative description of the changes that a force can produce on the motion of a body.

3rd- states that when two bodies interact, they apply forces to one another that are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.

Rest and motion are relatives terms justify the statement
Anna007 [38]

Answer:

rest and motion are the relative terms because they depend on the observer's frame of reference. So if two different observers are not at rest with respect to each other, then they too get different results when they observe the motion or rest of a body
