Answer:

CDC Regulations. As the nation's public health protection agency, CDC has certain authorities to implement regulations related to protecting America from health and safety threats, both foreign and within the United States, and increasing public health security.

Explanation:

The Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services has statutory responsibility for preventing the introduction, transmission, and spread of communicable diseases in the United States. Under its delegated authority, the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine works to fulfill this responsibility through a variety of activities, including

the operation of Quarantine Stations at ports of entry

establishment of standards for medical examination of persons destined for the United States, and

administration of interstate and foreign quarantine regulations, which govern the international and interstate movement of persons, animals, and cargo.

The legal foundation for these activities is found in Titles 8 and 42 of the U.S. Code and relevant supporting regulations

If I want to run a mile in 8:23 (minutes:seconds) what would be the best plan? I have to run 19 laps to make a full mile. Please
jarptica [38.1K]
To do this, you would have to be running at least 26 seconds per lap. I have been running cross country running for the past two years, and my tip for making this time is just to consistently run a set pace for the laps. If you stop to walk, you will lose your momentum and it will be hard to start running again. The first few laps are going to be the hardest, but most of the pain comes from a psychological level. Once you get past the first few laps, you won’t be as worried about walking, and you could run the rest. It won’t be easy, but I highly suggest for you to run the whole time. This is the most efficient way to run the mile in 8 minutes and 23 seconds.
