The answer is rather symbol just combine the like terms! -2X^2 has no like terms for it is the only exponent so cancel out C because it doesn't start with -2X^2. Next we add all variables with X but no exponent so 3X and -5x Add those together to get 3X +-5X which is -2X because the + is cancelled out so ghe equation is 3X-5X which equals -2X so get rid of everything but B. Finally to confirm it is B add all the basic numbers so the five and three to get eight. So (f+g)(x) = -2X^2 -2X + 8. The answer is B. (You guys said it was A so I changed it but now I know I am right.)

Please answer this simple question !!!
Norma-Jean [14]
First, coordinate Q is (-5,2) and Q' is (6,2). First, we know that this is a horizontal reflection becuase only the x-values change. This means that the line of reflection will be x=some value. I think the best way to go about this is to find the midpoint of Q and Q' using the formula: M=(x1+x2/2,y1+y2/2)
Q is the first point and Q' is the second point
M=(-5+6/2,2+2/2)
M=(1/2,4/2)
M=(1/2,2)

Since we know the y-values of Q, Q', and the midpoints are all 2, then the line of reflection would be x=1/2

Hope this helps

Josephine was asked to make a one-fiftieth scale model of the new water tower for her town. She constructed the model that is sh
Pavlova-9 [17]
A scale of one filthiest would be written as 1:50,
 this means for every foot of the model would be 50 feet for the actual tower

so you would multiply the dimensions of the tower by 50 get the actual dimensions.

height: 2.25 ft x 50 = 112.50 feet high = 113 feet ( rounded)

width: 1.25 x 50 = 62.5 feet wide = 63 feet (rounded)
