Find the minimum and maximum possible areas of a rectangle measuring 6 km by 11 km.
ExtremeBDS [4]
Assuming your numbers are rounded to the nearest km, the minimum area will be ...
  (5.5 km)·(10.5 km) = 57.75 km² . . . minimum

And the maximum area will be ...
  (6.5 km)·(11.5 km) = 74.75 km² . . . maximum

_____
When a number is rounded to 6 km as the nearest km, its value may actually be anywhere in the range 6 km ± 0.5 km. If you really want to get technical about it, the ranges of possible dimensions are [5.5, 6.5) km and [10.5, 11.5) km, and the range of possible areas is [57.75, 74.75) km².

I need to know the answer I’m working on rational numubers
lesya [120]

Answer:

Fraction Form: \frac{11}{24}

Decimal Form: 0.4583

Step-by-step explanation:

Apply the fraction rule: \frac{-a}{b} = - \frac{a}{b}

\frac{-5}{12} = - \frac{5}{12}

- \frac{5}{12} + \frac{7}{8}

Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 12 and 8: 24

- \frac{5}{12} x  \frac{2}{2} = - \frac{10}{24} \\\\\frac{7}{8} x  \frac{3}{3} = \frac{21}{24} \\\\- \frac{10}{24} + \frac{21}{24}

Apply the fraction rule:

\frac{a}{c} + \frac{b}{c}= \frac{a + b}{c}\\\\\frac{-10 + 21}{24} \\\\-10 + 21 = 11\\\\\frac{11}{24}

artcher [175]

Answer:

A).

650 + 35w> 825 + 15w

Step-by-step explanation:

Molly already has $650 set aside and adds $35 each week.

Lynn already has $825 set aside but adds only $15 each week

Let the number of weeks Molly's savings exceeds Lynn's savings be x. for Molly's savings= $650 + $35x

For Lynn savings = $825 + $15x

Fot Molly's savings to be greater than Lynn savings,then

$650 + $35x> $825 + $15x
