Answer:

  • The molarity of ammonia will be 2.88 M.

Chemical equation

                                      HCl +  NH3 ------> NH4Cl

First of calculate the moles of HCl

mole of HCl = Molarity × Vol (L)

mole of HCl = 0.800× 0.018 = 0.014 mole

As the in balance chemical, moles of HCl and NH3 areequal

so

                        moles of NH3= 0.014

                       Molarity of NH3 = moles ÷ V(L) = 0.014/0.005 = 2.88 M

Result:

  • The molarity of ammonia will be 2.88 M.

SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME?!?!
labwork [276]

Answer:

Determining the pH of substances such as purple grape juice and catsup using test strips can be difficult. Why?

Explanation:

Due to the tartaric acid present in these substances, this is a weak acid and is the predominant type of acid in grapes.

pH meters for these substances, measure the total acidity of the sample and convert it into tartaric acid concentration; The test strips are a qualitative method of measurement and their result can give different opinions.

An ion
BaLLatris [955]

Answer:

C. results when an alkaline-earth metal loses one of its outermost electrons

Explanation:

An ion can be said to result when an alkaline - earth metal loses one of its outermost electrons.

Ions are charged substances that takes part in chemical reaction.

  • An an atom is neutral substance that is a component of an element.
  • An ion is charged substance.
  • In an ion, the number protons and electrons are unbalanced.
  • The number of protons in an atom are the positively charged particles.
  • The number of electrons are the negatively charged particles.

When there is an inequality between the number of protons and electrons within an atom, an ion forms.

Fe+CuCI2> FeCI2+Cu balancing equations
Volgvan

Explanation:

To balance a chemical equation implies that we are conserving the number and mass of the reacting species.

Chemical equations must obey the law of conservation of mass "in a chemical reaction, matter is neither created nor destroyed".

This suggests that mass is conserved.

The number of atoms on the reactant side must be equal to that on the product end.

Before proceeding, check the species to see if they have equal number of atoms on both sides:

      Fe + CuCI₂ → FeCI₂ + Cu

Elements reactants products

  Fe 1 1

  Cu 1 1

  Cl 2 2

We can see that the equation is already balanced
