It is given in the Question that, Anna earned $ 72.

And out of $ 72, she gave 1/3 to her mother.

And 1/3 rd of 72 = $24.

So she gave $24 to her mother. Therefore remaining amount is

72-24=$48

And out of 48, she spent 1/4 on going out. And 1/4 of 48 is

\frac{1}{4} *48 = $12

So remaining amount is

48-12=$36

We have to find 36 is what fraction of 72, and it is

\frac{36}{72} = \frac{1}{2}

1/3 of 72 is 24 subtract 24 from 72 and get 48 and 1/4 of 48 is 12 so you subtract 12 from 48 and get 36 there for you have 36 dollars left over

Answer:

t = -1/8.

Step-by-step explanation:

t / 5/12 = -3/10          Invert the 5/12 and multiply:

12t / 5 = -3/10

Cross multiply:

12t * 10 = 5 * -3

120t = -15

t = -15/120 = -1/8.

I don't really understand how to put anything into standard form. If anyone could help that would be great...thanks.

I believe you would first distribute within the parentheses and then make it so A and B are the only things on the left side and I and the other random characters are on the right.
