What is changed when matter undergoes a physical change? Give an example to explain your answer.

The appearance changes but the physical properties stay the same. Ice and water are physical differences of the same material. Water can be turned into ice and back into water just by changes of temperature. Salt can be dissolved in water but the solution is just salty water, and the water and salt can be separated easily by boiling off the water and condensing it leaving the solid salt.
